Our goal is to directly evangelize the people we meet by building a relationship of trust and calling people to faith, repentance, and discipleship. We do this by using our 4-step evangelization method:
Listen – ask great questions, be genuine
Befriend – find common ground, share your story
Proclaim - share the Gospel, give good reasons for faith
Invite - give suggestions for what to do next
How We Measure Success:
Showing up on a regular basis, especially during the summer, Lenten, and fall seasons
By being spiritually prepared (state of grace, confession, etc) to share the Gospel, our testimonies, and good reasons for faith
Impressing upon folks an urgency about salvation, and how one is saved
Praying out loud for folks (ACTS, Consecration, Healing)
Moving someone closer to Jesus, especially through the Sacrament of Reconciliation
Our Team Roles:
Team Leader/Trainers – conduct quarterly virtual training as needed
Station Leader – responsible for outings, bringing supplies, and doing a write-up of the outing
Evangelists – go out on outings as scheduled
Prayer Warriors – pray during the outing time, that the evangelists are docile to the Holy Spirit and the people on the street open their hearts to Him
Evangelists in training – those who have completed the training and come out on outings on a “drop-in basis” for the current session
Supplies Coordinator – order supplies and distribute, clean, and organize box
